“Battlefront: Humanity vs. Machines” is inspired by a compelling mix of strategic gameplay designed to challenge players' tactical skills and decision-making abilities while creating an engaging experience. The game envisions a world where humans and advanced AI robots clash for supremacy, drawing inspiration from the team-based dynamics of Among Us, where players must outwit their opponents to secure victory, emphasizing strategic alliances and cunning maneuvers. The intense survival challenge of Battle Royale video games also influences the game's objective to be the last person or team standing by eliminating all opponents. Additionally, elements from dodgeball bring a unique dynamic, where the doctors (mechanics for robots) play a crucial supporting role, healing teammates and needing protection to maintain the team's health.
Risk
Furthermore, our board game is inspired by the popular board game 'Risk,' as it integrates similar battle mechanics that emphasize strategic dice rolling and combat outcomes. In 'Risk,' players attack by rolling dice, with both the attacker and defender comparing their rolls to determine the winner and the number of soldiers lost in battle. Our game also adopts a comparable mechanic during the dueling phases. Players roll dice based on their statistic cards, aiming to achieve higher numbers than their opponents to deal damage. This system not only adds a layer of strategic depth but also brings an element of luck and excitement to each encounter, ensuring that every duel is engaging and unpredictable. The mechanics of 'Risk,' allows us to create a dynamic and strategic combat experience that challenges players to think critically about their moves and adapt their strategies to the evolving battlefield.
